The Cookie Plate

A plate stood upon a tabletop.
On the plate were cookies placed.
Each cookie was similar
In size and taste and shape.

But one cookie would not conform
to the baker's plan.
It stretched and twisted away
from the Master's hand.

All the cookies looked pleasant
And tasted just as sweet.
Except for the rebellious one
It was not so nice to eat.

Fight against the Creator,
And I'm certain you will find,
That instead of a cookie sweet
Your flavor is the bitterest kind.

But when we give our hearts in full,
to the Father, Creator.
We present him with a sacrifice
of the sweetest savor.
