30 Days of Esther: Day 28

"For Mordecai the Jew was next unto king Ahasuerus, and great among the Jews, and accepted of the multitude of his brethren, seeking the wealth of his people, and speaking peace to all his seed." - Esther 10:3

When we start this book, Esther is just a young Jewess, and Mordecai her kind, wise relative that raised her when her parents died. At the end of the book Esther, she is queen and her uncle the second only to the king of the World's most powerful kingdom in the world.
It's exciting to see that God rewarded the goodness of Mordecai with this position. This position was a blessing to all involved. Think of how Ahasuerus was blessed by the knowledge and wisdom of the godly Mordecai and our history books record how prosperous this nation was, and I'm sure that was in part because of Mordecai's elevation!
